IDO Events is a Los Angeles-based wedding and event planning, design, and production company creating thoughtfully curated celebrations and experiences across Southern California. From luxury weddings and private celebrations to corporate events and brand experiences, our team brings together creative direction, thoughtful design, detailed planning, and seamless execution.
Our story began more than 15 years ago in China, where we built extensive experience in wedding and event planning before expanding to the U.S. in 2019. Today, our Los Angeles team brings that international perspective to every event, combining refined aesthetics with a deep understanding of different cultures and traditions.
With bilingual English and Chinese capabilities, we specialize in luxury, Chinese, and multicultural weddings while also supporting U.S. and international brands with corporate events, brand launches, and experiential events in Southern California.
Every celebration is approached with intention and designed around the people, story, and purpose behind it. From the smallest details to the overall guest experience, our goal is to create events that feel personal, polished, and distinctly yours.

Lisa
Co-Founder & Director
As Co-Founder and Director, Lisa brings over 15 years of experience in the wedding and event industry, with a strong background in design, branding, and marketing. Her sophisticated creative perspective has helped shape IDO Events’ signature approach to thoughtful, detail-driven celebrations and experiences. From weddings and private events to brand experiences, Lisa brings together creative direction and strategic thinking to transform each client’s vision into a cohesive and memorable event.
Sylvia
Co-Founder & U.S. Market Director
With a BA in Project Management, an MBA in International Business, and professional training in event and wedding planning, Sylvia leads IDO Events’ U.S. market operations. Having lived and worked in the U.S. for 15 years, she brings a strong understanding of both Chinese and American cultures to weddings and celebrations. Combining creative direction, project management, and cross-cultural communication, she also supports corporate events and brand experiences in the U.S.
Coco
Co-Founder & Lead Planner
Coco, Co-Founder and Lead Planner, brings over 15 years of experience in wedding and event planning. With a professional background in visual design, she combines creative vision with meticulous planning to translate each client’s ideas into a cohesive event experience. From concept development to production and execution, Coco’s thoughtful approach ensures every detail works together seamlessly.
Anny
Lead Coordinator
Anny combines a background in Finance and Real Estate with extensive experience in event coordination. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and calm approach help guide each event seamlessly from preparation through on-site execution. Working closely with clients, planners, and vendors, Anny helps ensure timelines, logistics, and event-day details come together smoothly.
Fish
Creative Director
Fish, our Creative Director, brings an artistic and conceptual approach to wedding and event design. A graduate of the China Academy of Art, she has developed thousands of event concepts and transformed creative ideas into immersive environments and visual experiences. With a strong eye for composition, aesthetics, and spatial design, Fish leads creative development across celebrations, events, and brand experiences.
Rea
Chief Florist
Rea, our Chief Florist, brings over 10 years of experience in floral and event design. With a background in printmaking and specialized floral design training in Germany under renowned floral designer Gregor Lersch, she brings a distinctive artistic perspective to every project. Specializing in structural floral design, Rea combines form, movement, color, and texture to create intentional floral installations that become an integral part of the overall event design.
